Born and raised in Pinehurst, NC, I have a wealth of knowledge about the Sandhills area and regional construction techniques. I began working with Pinehurst Homes at a young age as a member of the general labor work force.

I have been involved in many aspects of construction projects and daily tasks and worked my way up from the work force to field supervision and company management over a 15 year period. I have acquired an expansive knowledge about construction processes through real life experiences and formal education.

I received my Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management from East Carolina University. My 15+ years of experience ensures that all of Pinehurst Homes’ projects are held to our highest standards of both quality and excellence.

I work closely with new clients throughout the entire construction process, beginning with design and following through with the completion of the project. I am an active member of the Moore County Home Builders Association, currently serving on their Board of Directors.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my wife Ashley, our son Briar, and our two dogs. I also enjoy working on classic cars and doing most anything outdoors.

I have a Degree in Civil Engineering, a Certified Green Professional, Certified Senior Engineering Technician in Soils, Concrete, and Asphalt. I was employed by The Pinehurst Resort in 1981 as Capital Development Manager. My primary objective was to Develop Pinehurst No. 6 Golf Course Community. The Fazio #6 Golf Course was in place and operating. I employed personnel and purchased equipment to actually install the utilities (water and sewer), drainage system, and prepare the streets for pavement. Pinehurst Resort requested I obtain my General Contracting Building License.

I was certified with an “UNLIMITED“ GENERAL CONTRACTING BUILDING LICENSE in 1983. I received my “Unlimited” GENERAL CONTRACTING PUBLIC UTILITIES (water and sewer) and HIGHWAY in 1991. My accomplishments with Pinehurst Resort consist of over 100–Juniper Creek Townhomes at Pinehurst #6, 20–Dogwood Terrace Condominiums in the Village of Pinehurst, and Development of Fairwoods on Seven (#7) in Pinehurst. I completed the Rough-In for Golf Course #7 for Golf Course Architect Mr. Reese Jones. Reese shaped and finalized the Golf Course as I developed Fairwoods on Seven Subdivision including utilities, streets, and drainage.

I purchased Pinehurst Homes, Inc. from Pinehurst Enterprises, Inc. (Pinehurst Resort) in 1994. Custom Home Construction and Historical Renovation quickly became my passion. I have built/renovated over 450 homes and completed over 60 Historical Renovations in the Historical District of The Village of Pinehurst.
